Many of these farmers, a large percentage of whom are women, rely on coffee cultivation to support their families. GARMINDO provides essential resources and facilitates access to the international market, ensuring fair wages and improved livelihoods for its members.

The Unique Wet-Hulling Process:

Sumatra coffee is known for its distinctive processing method, called "Giling Basah" in Indonesian. Unlike conventional washed processing, the coffee parchment is removed while the beans still have high moisture content. This unique wet-hulling process contributes to the coffee's signature earthy flavors and full body.
